MORE THAN A ROOF
(Housing Workshop)
-To Be Announced-
More Than a Roof is a community-centered housing workshop designed to help residents understand that housing is about more than having a place to live. It is also about stability, safety, affordability, dignity, opportunity, and having a voice in what happens in your neighborhood.
Through this workshop, Florida Voices United will create a space where renters, homeowners, seniors, families, young adults, and community members can talk openly about the housing challenges affecting their neighborhoods and learn practical ways to advocate for change.
Participants will explore issues such as affordable housing, rising rents, homeownership, housing repairs, neighborhood safety, homelessness and housing instability, access to community resources, and fair housing.
